Nillumbik Emus Orienteering Club

Nillumbik Emu members participate in and organise orienteering events within the umbrella of the Victorian Orienteering Association. These events include local street events held in the evenings from November through to March, Mon-Thurs; bush events in Victorian State Forests and Mountain Bike Orienteering. The events are held on Sundays throughout the year. Club members also compete at major national events, make maps and meet socially on a regular basis. The club puts out a regular magazine and welcomes newcomers. The club owns several maps and conducts events in parklands and street environments in the Shire as well as in native bushland further afield. Participants are aged from the young to the elderly and many participate as family groups. Annual membership is $5 per family or individual.
