Wattle Glen Aged Services Facility

Wattle Glen Aged Care is currently a 30 bed high care facility with 21 low care bed available too. The waiting list for the low care beds will be available soon. Set amidst the natural environment, the facility has single and double ensuite rooms. Services available to the residents are:

• trained and caring Nursing staff providing care based on individual care plans for each resident; An activities coordinator organises in house group activities five days per week;
• Outings to senior citizens, restaurants etc;
• Music Therapy twice a week;
• Physiotherapist who visits twice weekly;
• Podiatrist, Speech Therapist, Dietician are available for residents consultation; Community services and volunteers visit the facility on a regular basis as organised by the activities coordinator;
• Religion - local clergy conduct monthly in-house services on a rotational basis.
• Meals are cooked on the premises by our cook based on a well-balanced diet
• Laundry services are also available in-house;
• Hairdressing services are available from a visiting hairdresser, once a fortnight.

We believe our residents have the absolute right to be treated with respect and dignity and experience pleasure and satisfaction. Staff ensure residents maintain their independence and personal freedom as much as possible.
